This lectures describes in detail the clinical manifestations of a pericardial effusion. It describes the reasons why errors occur in a medical setting and specific guidelines on how to correctly manage the situation. Specific examples of popular cases involving medical error are reviewed. Finally, this lecture gives techniques on how a medical professionals can cope with an error once it has occurred.
