Dr. Jay Greenspan is Professor of Pediatrics, Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, and Robert L. Brent Chairman, Nemours Children’s Clinics, A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, Philadelphia.
Dr. Greenspan earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland. His pediatric internship and residency were spent at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Pennsylvania Hospital, and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is Board-certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine and was named a “Top Doc for Kids” by Philadelphia Magazine in 2001.
A prolific writer and frequent guest lecturer in neonatal-perinatal medicine, he is the author or co-author of more than a hundred journal articles, case reports, and book chapters addressing both medical and economic aspects of neonatal pulmonary function. In addition, he reviews for several pediatrics journals including Pediatrics and Journal of Pediatrics and serves on the editorial board of Advances in Neonatal Care. |
