Stephen Pearlman has been a neonatologist for the past 22 years after completing his fellowship training at Penn State-Hershey. He is currently the Associate Director of Neonatology and the Director of Pediatric Medical Education at Christiana Care Health Systems in Newark, Delaware. He is the Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program at Thomas Jefferson University where he also is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. In addition to his interest in pediatric medical education, Dr. Pearlman has been actively involved in neonatal research on a wide array of topics which have resulted in the publication of papers and textbook chapters. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Neonatal Billing Practices.
On a more personal note, Dr. Pearlman is married to a pediatric nurse and they have 3 children. When he has a free moment, he enjoys exercise and reading fiction. Dr. Pearlman also sings tenor with a group called Nashirah: The Jewish Chorale of Greater Philadelphia. |
